The 12 pc. Meal costs $39.29 and carries 3450-7200 cal. Twelve pieces, three large sides and six biscuits, with the same choice between a Variety Bucket of three of each piece or an all dark meat bucket of six drums and six thighs. It feeds six adults comfortably.

Bone-in chicken does get cheaper as the bucket grows. Per piece the 8 piece meal runs at about three dollars seventy, the 12 at three twenty seven and the 16 at three oh eight, with the side and biscuit count rising in step. So the step from eight to twelve saves about forty cents a piece and adds a third large side, which is the better buy for any table of five or more. The calorie figure looks alarming until you divide it by six, at which point it is an ordinary dinner.
