No. Franchisees set their own prices, and the spread is real money on a large order. Every price here is the median across 22 US restaurants we sample, so treat it as the typical price rather than the one on your local board.
By how hard KFC pushes it — how many menu sections it sits in, how many restaurants stock it, how much SEO the brand wrote for it — Mac and Cheese Bowl Combo leads, then Classic Chicken Sandwich Combo and Classic Chicken Sandwich + Nuggets Big Box Meal. That is KFC's own shelf placement talking, not a poll.
Nothing official. What exists are modifications staff will usually make — swapping a side, ordering a la carte pieces instead of a combo, asking for a sandwich without a component. None of it is a menu, and none of it is guaranteed at any given restaurant.
The sides menu runs to 32 items including sauces and desserts, starting at $0.29. Mashed potatoes, slaw, mac and cheese, corn and fries are the ones on every menu board.

The coating and the cooking. Original Recipe is pressure-fried in the seasoned flour blend and comes out softer; Extra Crispy is breaded more heavily and open-fried, so it holds a harder crust. Same chicken underneath, different texture and, usually, different calories.
Not in the US. There is one menu from open to close, so everything on it is available from 10:00 AM onwards at most restaurants. The hours page has the schedule.

We track 3,702 across 51 states and 2,635 cities. California has the most at 373. Those counts come from KFC's own published location data, which is also what the hours page is built on.
Most open at 10:00 AM and close at 10:00 PM, but there is no single chain-wide schedule — the most common one covers only 21% of restaurants. The hours page shows the real spread.
Closed at most standalone locations. A small number inside airports and travel plazas run short hours. All 20 US holidays that change opening times are in the holiday table, with this year's real dates.

Use KFC's official store locator, which is the only listing KFC keeps current. This site does not publish restaurant pages: it covers the menu, the prices, the nutrition and the hours patterns instead, which is where an independent site can actually tell you something KFC does not.

KFC Nutrition and Allergens
KFC's own published nutrition data. We hold a full panel for 37 items and a calorie figure for nearly all 150. Where KFC publishes nothing, we show nothing rather than estimating — you can see the whole set in the nutrition calculator.
Green Beans at 25-80 cal. At the other end, 16 pc. Tenders Meal Original Recipe carries 5680-8600 cal — though that is a family order, not one person's meal.
No vegan main in the US, and no meat-free chicken substitute. A few sides are meat-free, but the gravy is made with chicken and the fryers are shared. The nutrition page lists the honest short version with the caveat on each one.
Each item page lists what KFC records. Worth knowing: KFC marks each allergen as present, absent, or not assessed, and we show all three states — a blank means KFC has not said, not that the item is free of it. 49 items carry allergen records.
Not as a chain-wide policy. A small number of individual US restaurants have offered halal chicken over the years, but there is no national certification and no way to tell from a menu. If it matters, ask the restaurant directly — do not rely on any site, including this one.
KFC Ordering and Rewards
20 live promotions, 20 of them needing a code. All of them are on the deals page, and the codes on their own are on the coupons page. Both are rebuilt weekly from KFC's own feed.
Usually the restaurant is not running that offer — franchisees opt in individually. Otherwise the order does not qualify yet, another code is already applied, or the offer has been pulled since we last rebuilt. Codes also only work in the app or on kfc.com, never at the counter.
Points earned on app orders, redeemed against menu items. Ordering at the counter earns nothing. The app page covers the setup, and it is also where the app-only offers live.
Yes — that is the one stack that reliably works, because the card is payment and the code is a discount. Two promo codes almost never combine. The gift card page works through what each denomination actually buys.
